moines school today... find out what stunned this little girl... and how the school helped pull it off. no they're not getting special treatment, this is a transition plan and that transition plan is helping several of council woman christine hensley's clients. good evening. i'm dan winters... claims of a conflict of interest stem from des moines' tax abatement program... it was set to expire. then, the council changed the program to target specific parts of town. council woman hensley pushed for a 6-month extension for several projects outside the new targeted area. hensley also works for midwest housing equity group... a syndication firm that purchases and reinvests tax credits for developers. 18:18:11 'well, she handles financing, tax sindicator for three out of the

hotel has rooms for sale. the new owner of the historic kirkwood hotel is converting the space into 54 condos that will be move in ready by the new year. 14:38:14 it's been fun getting to learn the building. taking the risk that we did, i wanted to make sure i knew what was going on all the time and that's why i moved into the property 25 the city says almost all of the units downtown are occupied. the new condos and lofts will be completed a few hundred at a time. the projects are spaced out so they shouldn't flood the housing market .... a webster county man is charged in the vandalism case that shutdown the court house for a week... on december eighth workers found someone sprayed several fire extinguishers on the second and third floors of the building...

shut down the courthouse and postpone all cases. the courthouse reopened on december 14th after six days. today police charged 30-year old daniel swick with burglary and criminal mischief. police say the arrest was based on evidence found inside the courthouse during cleaning. a visitation will take place tomorrow night for madrid football coach randy hinkel. hinkel died of a heart attack this weekend. he's been a fixture on the madrid sidelines for the past 26-years... making the playoffs nearly all of them. the visitation will take place in the madrid high school gym from 4-to-7 tomorrow night. the family is asking everyone to dress in tiger orange and black. hundreds of people near clear lake are playing the waiting game... 43 right now for the most part the ice conditions are very poor if you could even say that to say the least but uh everybody is really antsy we're all excited to get out there its coming its just a matter of time clear lake did freeze over this

bernie sanders is leading in new hampshire... and closing the gap in iowa... and it now has hillary clinton sounding the alarm. the clinton campaign sent an email today warning they are losing the money race against sanders. the clinton campaign expects sanders to have a higher fundraising total in december... and this is one of the reason's why... he's attracting huge crowds to his events. sanders campaigning this morning in storm lake... it was also a large crowd last night in sioux. both events had to be moved to larger venues because of the turnout. sanders has one more event tonight in pottawattamie county.. and a pair of town halls tomorrow also in western iowa. hillary clinton is also campaigning in iowa.. and this morning shared a

presidential candidate i'm going to be a grandparent again. it's like the best news for me. it's the best club i've been in. but its not stopping her from trying to join the presidential club... in keota today clinton stuck to her claim that video of donald trump is being used to help isis recruit soldiers... hillary clinton: you know, people around the world pay close attention to our elections. and if you go on arabic television, as we have, and you look what is being blasted out with video of mr. trump being translated into arabic, 'no muslims coming to the united states,' other kinds of derogatory, defamatory statements, it is playing into the hands of the violent jihadists clinton made the same claim during saturday's debate... but was unable to back it up with video evidence.

does show images of barack obama... george bush... and bill clinton. the next republican presidential debate could be the most important one... fox news is hosting the debate.. and it will take place in des moines on january 28th.. .three days before the caucuses. fox is yet to say what criteria candidates must meet to take part.. or if it will be split into two debates because of the large field of candidates. it will be hosted by bret baier and megyn kelly. kelly tangled with donald trump during the first presidential debate in august. 33- you call women you don't like, fat pigs, dogs, slobs, and disgusting animals. following the debate trump heavily criticized kelly for what he says was an unfair line of questioning. . she starts asking me all sorts of ridiculous questions and you know you could see there was blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her wherever.

criticism.. only this time it was directed at trump... three days later trump appeared on four political shows to clarify his statement. i was going to say nose and/or ears because that's a very common statement, blood flowing out of somebody's nose. it's a statement showing anger,. do you think i'd make a stupid statement like that. who would make a statement like that only a sick person would even think about it. trump briefly boycotted fox new network following the debate. the next democratic presidential debate is on january 17th in south carolina. n-b-c news is hosting the debate. the sunday debate is the third democratic debate taking place on a weekend. both bernie sanders and martin o'malley have criticized the d-n-c for scheduling debates on a weekend when viewership is typically lower. sanders and o'malley say the d- n-c designed it that way to help hillary

northwest iowa may transition briefly to snow wednesday evening. a cold front will pass through on christmas eve morning. this may also bring a few light snow showers to parts of central iowa early thursday morning, but no accumulation is expected. the weather will be quiet christmas even through christmas day. more active weather returns this weekend with rain chances and possibly some snow

paris: there's a lot to do on a dairy farm. nobody's gonna do it for you. you have to get out there and do it yourself. bernie sanders is a well-known friend of family farms. bernie cannot be bought out by big money. bernie's opinion cannot be purchased. it's time for our next president to get in there, roll up his sleeves, take off the gloves, and take on wall street, take on big business, take on big money, and get the working class back to where they should be. he's a rock.
